I'm in my 40's. We still do house parties but it's on some more laid back shyt.
How old is too old for house parties?

hood clubs are too...i mean if you're in a certain element/around certain types of people, yall can be partying in buckingham palace and if nikkas is on some hood/banging shyt, people gonna act up.
What kind of house party is that? I think the house party older people have is fish fries and spaghetti dinners with chicken and ribs. Ojay's, Isley Brothers, etc., in the background. Simple shyt. Not hardcore crazies.
Yea the only parties that really get out of control is those teen and early 20s ones. Your circle gets smaller when you get older and you get more selective about who you spend time with. The most I’ve seen at these grown ass house gatherings is old nikkas arguing over some old shyt like frats or military. Just woofing

If it's a college house party, you're honestly getting too old by your mid to late 20s.

There is no age limit to having house parties, if you have them within your age range.
I think it is odd for someone my age to attend a house party with college aged adults and vice versa.
However, an exception can be made for family house functions or if a neighborhood had a block party where all ages are welcomed in that neighborhood.
For those of you who are in your 20s thru late 30s, what do you think you would be doing to have fun when you hit your 40s thru 60s? What do you think people that age do for fun at that age?
Y'all may be so-called young now, but one day y'all will no longer be young and will hopefully reach the half century mark or beyond. Hopefully, y'all would not restrict yourselves to have fun while y'all are still able to fuction normally.

I'm done with all that partying shyt. Too much drama and nikkas not knowing how to act these days at a party. I'm 26 btw.
