17. In order to get your license at 16 in GA, you have to do some online class and I wasnt feeling it, so I waited for one year.

My parents both worked and really didn't have the time to take out w/me as kid to teach me.

I'm physically impaired and live in a shytty ass state w/limited resources for disabled ppl. I tried to get into an driver's training program for adults but they cut the program. Years before that, I was in a driver's training program the summer I was headed into my senior year of HS and they tried to stop me from continuing in the program b/c ANOTHER PERSON crashed one of the student cars into a pole (a situation I had nothing to do with).

At 36, I'm not asking anybody to teach me how to drive either. I use Lyft to get around and it is what it is...

Thank You. It doesn't bother me as much as it used to but it still bothers me because I always said "what if my mom gets sick?" Then again I think about the insurance rates, car note, & maintenance to up keep a car. Then I see ppl using transportation alternatives such as Uber (I don't mess with) & Lyft.

I mentioned how I had got mine at 16, but I had been driving since 12 or 13. I stayed with my aunty for a little while, and she lived in the country. She used to let me drive her infinite coupe all throughout Kernersville and Walkerton, NC. Every time I’d get in that car, and accelerate, she’d hit me with, “you feel that power, there. Ya daddy’s car ain’t got them horses like mine.”

18 but been driving since about 12. Should have had my permit at 15 1/2 but didn't want to do pointless lessons so I put it off. The bih dinged me for not using my hazards for reversing on the side of the road. Other than that perfect.

Wasn’t required to do it for my license test.

Got it at 25. Knew how to drive at 13. Failed multiple written test. Its only when i wanted a new car i felt motivated.
