North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
ur the same age and in the same predicament as me. I always rock a ceasar or a baldy since I cut my own hair. if I ever go bald, I already know what I look like being bald anyways so fukk it.
:melo:

Sometimes I let my hair grow out a lil bit just to let people know my hairline still crispy.

Though my hairline was receding at 24/25.

I used to hate the first few weeks of my new cut, had to wait until it filled in.

It was just the idiot barbers pushing my line back.

Been fukking with this Puerto Rican barber for a year now. Nikka got my hairline looking like I'm 19 but, I'm 27 :wow:
Word, my hairdresser is GOAT.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Just shave it off bro. Growing up I always took my low hairline for granted and thought it was stupid that people even cared about that stuff. Once I got and started receding a bit, I realized how a good hairline can really add a few points to your looks. Their is nothing you can really do to stop hair loss. Your best bet is to not get a haircut for a few months and just use home made clippers to keep your neck and side burns clean.

So fukkin ironic you mentioned that... was out and about not too long ago, a bar uptown.

It was like a fukkin boiler room inside so i went upstairs to the rooftop and as i'm chillin, this cute ass broad walks past me and i go, "Sweet jesus, it's hot as hell down there, aren't you glad you went outside?"

She turned around and smiled like ice cream on a sundae.

We chatted for a bit and the next thing you know, she removes my hat and looks at my head. Giggles and puts my hat back on.

It didn't hit me until a while later why she did that.

Why she even cared... but then i told her my age so she had to verify.

But fortunately, at 33, i have a healthy dome of follicles.

We ended going in her car later and started making out and 2nd base type shiit.

I didn't know girls cared that much about that type of stuff.... but style points in that department are real.

Fortunate to be in my 30's and not have that homer simpson empty northern hemisphere.

Brehs I'm going to make a thread about this issue very soon. I've been trying my best to research Male pattern Baldness for the past couple of months. We have aggressive Male pattern baldness in my family and I started feeling the effects of it when I was 23. I remember my crown thinning extremely fast and my hairline receding pretty fast as well. I went from having my girl playing in my hair to wearing hats to hide what was going on :( What's been working for me is a method called Detumescence therapy (Although I do a variation of this method).

There are 5 things that come to my mind when I think of Male Pattern Baldness:
1. Skull Expansion - This is a theory that insinuates that the shape of the skull continues to grow into adulthood and skull growth eventually stifles hair follicles. According to this theory some people's skulls only grow slightly so they won't have much or any hair loss. And then there are some people who's skulls expand continuously and this continuous skull growth eventually harms hair follicles. I'm trying to do some research on this. There are mixed opinions on the web. Some people think it's BS and some people think that it is the true cause of Male Pattern Baldness. I'll see if I can find any books on this so just hang tight brehs.

2. Calcification - This is the hardening of an area. Calcification takes place inside and outside the body (Hardened arteries are a common example of a form of calcification) and usually causes a number of problems and ailments. I realized a few months ago this was taking place in my scalp (And if you're receding or balding it's probably taking place in your scalp as well), I'll explain below.

3. Blood flow. This is highly crucial in halting and regrowing hair imo, most of us who are receding and balding can stop and reverse the balding process by simply finding ways to get much better blood flow to the scalp.

4. DHT - A hormone that binds and shrinks hair follicles. (With proper blood flow I doubt you have to worry about this)

5. PGD2 - A prostaglandin that decreases hair production and is found in the scalps of those of us with Male Pattern Baldness. (Same with DHT, get proper blood flow and I doubt you have to worry about this)

Damn this post is getting long. Alright, let me talk about calcification and blood flow as these are the two most important areas in my opinion. Men who suffer from Male Pattern Baldness tend to have significantly lower circulation in their scalp when compared to men who aren't balding. Your hair isn't getting anywhere near enough of the oxygen and nutrients it needs if blood flow has been compromised. You need to improve blood flow to your scalp significantly to stop and reverse hair loss.

Like I said before calcification also takes place and is a major factor in hair loss. I remember a few months ago, I was doing "Detumescence therapy" which is an intense scalp massage designed to improve blood flow and break up calcification. I remember feeling that the area of my crown somehow felt very hard and bony. At first I thought I was imagining it but the more I massaged the more I realized it, my scalp had turned extremely hard. I kept massaging and eventually I started hearing crunching sounds in my scalp, after awhile it fell like something in my scalp had broken up. A few weeks after this the hair in my crown started slowly filling back in. What had happened was the calcification in my scalp had formed some kind of "scalp ridge", basically my crown area was filled with calcium. The calcium there restricts blood flow and suffocates hair follicles. It's no surprise I slowly started getting my hair back after breaking the scalp ridge. A few weeks later I started feeling the same kind of calcium in my temples and other parts of my scalp. Once again I started hearing the same kind of crunching sounds, this was an indication that I was breaking up the calcium once more. My hair immediately felt different after this and a few months later my hairline started filling back in, it's still not there all the way but it is about 90% restored.

So here's what I did and my recommendations on what you need to do.
Blood Flow - Look up Detumescence therapy and read up on exactly how the massage is done. It will need to be done for 20 minutes, 2 times a day. I was doing Detumescence faithfully until after awhile my fingers and wrists started aching, so I switched up my methods. Instead of using my hands I started using a plastic bottle. I know a bunch of you are probably like ":mjlol:" or ":dahell:" right about now and that's OK. But this worked for me. If you don't believe me try it out right now, take a plastic bottle (I use empty plastic vitamin bottles) and rub the bottom of it on your temples for exactly 1 minute. After one minute check how your temples feel. It will feel warm, because you just increased blood flow to the area. If you do this method for 15 minutes over your hairline and scalp your hair will feel incredibly warm and your scalp will feel loose (Which is extremely important). You can strengthen this method by putting one hand over the other hand while rubbing the bottle over your scalp. I would recommend you either do this for 20 minutes twice a day or 15 minutes 3x a day. Either one should be fine. This method delivers blood flow and breaks up calcification all in one. (However, I don't recommend my variation of the method if you have long hair or a fro. Usually some of my hair breaks off when my hair starts getting long and I'm doing this method, usually these hairs come back much stronger though.)

Now to aid your quest in regrowing your hairline or your hair in general, you'll need COD Liver Oil (Provides Vitamin A and D), Magnesium Oil Spray (Research and make sure you're geting a good brand. You can also read about Magnesium Oil Spray and its benefits for Male pattern baldness), and vitamins K2 and D3. All of these work to break up calcification internally and Magnesium Oil spray applied to your temples, hairline, and other areas where you are losing hair will restore the hair in those areas.

TL, DR
1. Look up and learn how to do Detumescence therapy or use my variation of it.
2. Use COD Liver Oil along with Vitamins K2 and D3 to break up any internal calcification.
3. Apply Magnesium Oil Spray to your hairline, crown, and anywhere else you are losing hair to restore the hair there.
4. Do these steps faithfully for the next 10 months.

I will continue to do my research on Male Pattern Baldness and I'll let you know what I find. Just remember brehs, it is your BIRTHRIGHT to have your hair. And you can have all of your hair back with persistence. Good luck brehs :salute:

I just learned about magnesium oil spray last week. Read a whole article about it and it made the most sense about why this curse happens to us...The article also mentioned calcification and using magnesium, about how basically magnesium dissolves calcification and calcium in general. It also recommended using magnesium oil or a spray on the scalp

I never knew about the Detumescence therapy though breh. God bless you :to: only thing i'm worried about is wont this intense rubbing cause you to lose some hair for good if you already shedding from the bad hairline?

I really hope this works, I'm about to go in. I thought i was cursed forever. I can't be out here short AND with a messed up hairline. I wasn't quite there yet but ii was entering into Stephen A Smith territory.

Poor Lebron, he doesnt' have someone like you to tell him about these methods

i been on no fap for almost two years so i don't think thats it. maybe it drastically increased the problem and it was too late to reverse it that way. in your post you mentioned waiting for the 10 months, so its nice to see its still been consistent for you.

i got a mini afro now so ill cut it and try this out since you said not to try it with one.

if there is more in addition to what you put in the post then sure PM me and let me know :to:

Before this i had heard of people using red light therapy in the doctor's office or using these hats or devices that use red light therapy to grow their hair back. some people say it worked some didn't but it was one of those things you couldn't tell if it was lies or not.what bothered me though was when people would post before and after pics of the middle of their head where they had bald spots...man i dont' care about the bald spot in the middle of your head...i wanna see if the front of your hairline improved. that to me is the most important part so i don't now why guys always showing the middle...must be a white guy thing...brehs talk about the front of their hair

Now if there was only Detumescence Therapy to rub my legs and go from 5'6 to 5'10 :aicmon:

I believe Nofap can save your hair or slow down hair loss. It takes a lot of nutrients for the body to create sperm. Someone who jerks off everyday will lose a lot of nutrients compared to someone jerking off once every two weeks
