Although I knew before I watched The Wire, he did okay. He had some slip ups though.
This scene right here was atrocious though. A lot of Brit actors struggle when their character has to yell and/or show a lot of emotion.

Same, Michael K Williams could have been from Baltimore to me. Everyone else was clearly actors to me. Snoop was the only one I thought was from BaltimoreI knew that from the beginning. Avon, Wee Bay, Bodie, Deangelo ALL sounded like they were from NY
I didn't know Stringer was British, but I DEFINITELY knew he wasn't from no damn Baltimore....
Shout out to Michael K Williams though. He was the only non-Baltimore native that actually tried

This reminds me of in Dumb & Dumber when Lloyd says that Mary will invite them in for tea and strumpets.I was 18. I didn't have cable in my new apartment yet so all I had to watch was local channels and the regional PBS affiliate. I was unpacking boxes so I put on PBS for some background noise. Then I see this mf on my screen in an interview sounding like tea and crumpets. I stopped in my tracks and sat on the edge of my bed in pure confusion for like 7 minutes straight because what the fukk?? I didn't think he was from Baltimore but I knew for a fact that nikka was American.
