I live in the suburbs and have been to the range with kids who are John wick with it....started shooting dumb young. They could out shoot me blind folded

pops was in the military, he started me with proper gun safety and a crosman rifle 2100 at 9 or 10 years i think

Started plinking .22LR with my Grandad and uncles at 8p
Didnt really LEARN how to shoot 12 ga, semi auto handguns, and Carbines properly (move and shoot, distance, etc.) until about 8 years ago.

My parents made me do it as a 7th period. Yes I would recommend it, you get a glimpse on how the real world works. We also took trips around the country to do drill.
There is nothing negative I can think of. You can also use your years to increase our rank if you enlist
