How old were you when you moved out of your parents crib?

dont see a reason to get a apartment pay 900 a month and doing the same shyt i be doing at home. browsing the internet or watching tv

I moved out at 25 to move into my apartment. I can understand if times got tough and you had to move back in with your parents but even then you should just use the time to pay off bills and stack money to eventually move out. But even when I was 20 I was helping with some of the bills in the house.

moved back for 6 motnhs cause of ends. stacked up some cash and moved back. been gone for 20 months

Would've stayed a bit longer but my sister moved back in the house and I couldn't live under the same roof as her. Need my space.

Mom's had a big house and worked 40 hrs a week so it wasn't so bad .

But then again, I didn't know how independent I was until I got my own crib.

fukk that. I'm bout to be 30 in a few months and I couldn't imagine still living with my parents. I'd be ashamed and I know my aunts and uncles and their friends would be looking at them like why your grown son still living with you?

At some point really past 25 its time to strike it out on your own. My relationship with my parents drastically improved when I moved out on my own.

Moved out at 17. Moved back for a couple of months at 30 to help Mom out when Dad died. Never needed to move back in with the parents but always nice to go there for a meal Mom's cooking
