The existing lobbying system ultimately makes politicians beholden to big money individual and corporate donors.
When you see who those individuals are, the decisions, votes, and public comments in favor of the state of Israel add up.
Aside from the political control, I think people overlook how those powerful individuals control and shape people's views.
