I told you to learn what a scientific poll was because if you did, you would learn about sample size determination, and find out that a randomized sample of 500 is statistically sound to give an accurate result within the confines of confidence interval (margin of error) stated in the poll.

Whether or not the rest of the methodology of the poll is sound is a nother issue. We were talking about sample size determination.
