headsets are what YOU prefer, but check it, I lay on my bed play my PS4 I occasionally use a headset but if I'm not using the mic. I dont need it... u buggin fam thinking that headsets can be a better option than a full blown surround sound system. and the other thing i hate about headsets is that that feeling when you take them off after long times of playing...

And I'm no casual... I dont need a pc when i got a nice gaming setup in my crib ya dig...

the problem is probably a lack of support for multi-channel PCM. I'm not sure if that's the tablet or the receiver though. movies use Dolby Digital (or DTS), but PC games use PCM. look through the properties of your audio device to see what formats it supports

audio is displayed as pcm on my receiver...my receiver does it all except Dolby atom

I mean if you SP gaming or gaming dolo online and not worried about communication, speakers are dope....but if you running with ya homies how else you gonna hear well and talk to them???

I need to hear when nikkas run up/behind me, pick up guns/nades, jump/fall, or or plant/defuse the bomb ya feel me? Surround sound speakers don't let me do that as well as these Astro A40's I got. They hold me down.

And this headset life is for everyone, not just PC.
