I've been saying forever that police don't investigate murders that involve Black victims.
People don't think that's possible.
Murders in the hood rarely get solved.
IMO, the lack of consequences for murders of Black victims is a large part of the reason why murders in the inner city are rampant.
If you ask a police officer why these crimes aren't being solved, their default answer is that no one will cooperate with police.
They use the "Stop Snitching" myth to revert blame to the community.
That's bullshyt because:
A) People snitch. All the time. and
B) These are not crimes committed by criminal masterminds. Most of the times these crimes are sloppy and there is evidence to be collected.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I highly doubt it.
