Her story is off. She said the killers walked by after a driveby shooting. Yes they could have come back to see the damage. Then she says her mother got a metal detector to find shell casings. The shell casing would generally be in the car of street unless they live on a dirt/grassy road or something.

End of the day just knowing who killed someone isn't enough for an arrest or conviction. Now if the videos were not collected thats different, but it also be a case of people not wanting to cooperate with police. I'm not giving it to them but I'll give it to you and you can do what you do with it.

San Diego has like 70-120 homicides a year

a lot of those are gang related, but the police work those hard, sometimes it takes years to make an arrest, but people/media, understandably lose interest, and don't follow up, so if an arrest is made, who sees it? The family and friends will know, but general public won't. That reinforces the idea that the killings are not solved. One of my friends was killed, younger homie, my friends cousin, and it took 3 years, but they absolutely first charged, and then tried and prosecuted all three, but it was a 7 year process to that guilty verdict. I attended the trial.

Yeah, her story seems off IMO.

In most cities you can pretty much kill as much as you want as long as you kill the right people in the right places at night and don’t be hot about it

Only reason Duck murder was actually investigated was because of where it happened

And the internet solved that for them

That’s a sad story man. I often wish these shootings wouldn’t happen to the point where these police stations have to lay cops off. They don’t though and the stations beg for more police. I also would love for people to really live by that rally cry that you hear at these protests.

“Who keeps us safe? We keep us safe.”

You can't put all of the blame on the police when the people in those communities refuse to cooperate with the authorities and refuse to snitch on the lowlives who are making these communities unsafe.

Or you could do the detective work and solve the crime yourself.
You're in law enforcement or someone close to you is.

This has been circulating the last few days.

I swear they need to take fire every cop in America and make them reapply with strict guidelines to weed out the racist, dumb and corrupt ones. The military or national guard can fill the role of the police until the rehiring is complete, also young men and women should be giving first dips for the job in their communities . I honestly think this is the only way to solve the horrible policing in this nation.

This narrative is pure bunk and garbage.

No it is not.

This shyt plays out in real life.
A shooting takes place. The community blames the police instead of the shooter. "We were the cops. We need more police".

That same community a few years earlier. "They are too many cops in this neighborhood. We are over policed, they are harassing us".

You don't watch the news. You just want Black folks to hold on the victim mentality that you have.
