A few Floors Down from the Daily Grind
In New England, it's always been baseball first.

Brehs, up here, the youth leagues are so competitive I'd almost compare it to the south and football. Parents screaming at umps during their 8 year olds game, 1st graders playing winter ball at indoor facilities, paying $$$ for private leagues and instructions.

The town I'm from is a small town but the kids are so good they almost make the little league world series the past two years.

With the Sox winning 3 world series and the Pats dominance, it's leveled off a bit, but it's always baseball first.

We just won the ship here but baseball is & probably always will be the 3rd sport in the H. Texans after football returned here & Rockets in that order of having the city’s attention span. The Rockets especially ever since our championships 25 years ago I think we’ve only missed the playoffs 3 times so we are ALWAYS competitive.

I live in Houston, so the Astros are really popular right now. All of their games are packed, even day games. But I still feel like the local sports media treats them as the third wheel behind the Texans and Rockets even though they won a championship just last year :patrice:

Going to baseball games is the thing to do in the spring/summer, people wearing baseball jerseys everywhere (not the official ones but like the shirts), baseball diamonds/fields everywhere, baseball dominates local sports talk radio and ESPN in the summer. Yeah man, probably not much different than hockey up there. It is what it is. Lot of people on the coli dislike the sport because it isn’t popular among black Americans like that but in real life, it’s up there with football. Whites and Hispanics love that shyt man

I understand what you mean, when I go visit family in the states. I'd see bare people wearing jerseys, or another clothing with the logo of the team they support. This was in Chicago by the way

I figured in Toronto atleast baseball is pretty popular because the Blue Jays have one of the best fanbases in the MLB.

@Supreme Leader Reinscarf yall dont care bout beisbol?

From what I know it's usually white people that rate baseball here but I can't speak for all of Canada but from my experience it's just white people.

The Real Titletown
Very popular in Boston, but there are also more pink hat and bandwagon fans here than most cities.

Lots of diehards here, but also many spoiled idiots that complain about everything.

Seattle is 95% cac..

Hold this Neg.

It is pretty much # 1 sport here in Seattle if the Seahawks aint good.

I'd say soccer is #2 in Seattle. The amount of adult soccer leagues and games being played year round at high school/parks makes me think it's #2.

Also went to the park yesterday with my son and saw 4 people playing baseball, about 8 people playing football, lacrosse practice with about 20 people and 20+ playing soccer on 4 different goals.
