Made sense to me...and this is coming from one Gangbanging ass nikka.....breh went in like Bishop.....came out like Killmonger:picard:

You aren’t getting they training in the military without paying out of pocket or making it to special ops selection....shyt we still pay for coaching and classes...yeah don’t let cats think just any and everybody is out here getting top notch training.

It's a cross section of america and they accept people with criminal record. Kind of crazy that the background check for Macy's is harder than the military but it is what it is
Naturally it's going be plenty of ppl in there with colorful backgrounds. If that's the only route they can take to get out of the bad environment they come from then so be it and good luck

I'm not sure who told you that but it isn't....Clearly everyone doesn't have the same background check requirements.

Pretty much. The Navy's Chief Mess is a full-on fukking gang, though. When I say that the rules don't apply to them, I'm not bullshytting.

They could straight rape a junior sailor, tell the rest of the mess that she's a liar if she comes forward, and she'll have her career ruined. Once you have a problem with one Chief, then the rest of them will be on your ass.

(I'm only speaking from the Airforce side)The thing is right after 911 happened, they relaxed the requirements to come in. Hence why alot of gang members joined... They took people with tattoos, minor records, etc. Now they even check your credit score to be considered. A few years back, they did a huge audit where they released people who had article 15s/LORs and in special cases they dug even deeper. If everyone was getting their education and you were the only in your section who wasnt, then your name went up to be considered to be released.

I want to agree with you and than tell you the company line but you are honestly right...I can say times have changed but that's not every case....Its a lot of dirt that senior officers sweep under most senior enlisted get weeded out off of rumors unless already in a top position...Even myself. Rumor will be simple as hell and be unreasonable but shyt is all a perception game.

yes the Army has something much like this called the QMP...Like if you fail a school, or fail a APFT or just get what is considered a bad eval you can come up for QMP.....It's only for SSG-SGM basically. But you can tell some people are weeded out for other reason....CID/OSI has a thing about titling people rather they actually did a crime or not. And that pretty much gets you a black mark records wise. No promotion, no good assignments and you may end up discharged early also may hurt you if you want to get a higher level security clearance.

Ask him what his MOS was. Mad cats come out of the Service telling :duck:about what they did. Unless you're Spec Ops, Marine Force Recon, Airborne, SEAL, etc., you ain't getting all that extra training unless you take courses out your own pocket.

Cooks/mechanics/etc. don't need any of that.

Let me put it like this...Only cool guys get the cool guy classes....I did get some good test your ability classes but nothing that I would deem as useful and I was a damn Cav Scout even though I've basically just been a tanker the past few years. Ain't shyt fun about Recon classes shyt is muddy and dirty and hot and cold man fukk all this shyt...I legit sit here looking at all of the Artillery and Armor Schools and none of this stuff is cool :russ: ....SF and Intel got all; the cool stuff.
