Well I can tell you what my dad said about it because he was a FAN. The man used to play Thriller on repeat in our house, along with Off the Wall..on 12 inch. And he was upset about that shyt. Felt like Michael was trying to be white. He really got in his feelings about it and I know a lot of older people around me felt the same way

Obviously this level was made with "Thriller" in mind, but "Another part of me" seems to fit perfectly.
Edit: The version of the game in this video plays Thriller during the "Fatality". I don't thing the version I used to play on Genesis had that.

I look at it more like a wasted opportunity. 1988, right off the heels of Bad, Michael could've done some crazy shyt in the movies. I guess this was the best thing he could come up with...

Speilberg was gonna have MJ be Peter Pan in a movie in the early 80's, but it got put on the shelf when he did other movies. He later changed the idea of the movie with a grown up Pan and did "Hook" instead. MJ was trying to get more into acting and actually planned on Bad being his last album. But with him getting more weird and the face changes nobody was going put him in a starring role. He got roles like the one in MIB II
