Out of all cats, RHQ?

Dude was 5 and grew up in Atlanta when Get Money released. I can't blame him.

Lupe messing up ATCQ was more surprising.
In that case Kim should've picked Ross to do the verse

:what:

This new age of hip hop is trash man. You young kids lost like a muthafukka:snoop:

Agree with the first part. Ross would probably be way more familiar with Notorious BIG than RHQ and most likely would have shut it down.

I'm not young either though. But understand there's enough of a difference in age and influence for somebody like RHQ to not know Get Money. Somebody more closer in age to that era would have had the lyrics more embedded in their head, even more so after rehearsals. When looked at in context, by the time RHQ hit jr. high the South had taken off. Probably wasn't hearing too much Biggie in ATL at the time. End of the day it was just a bad idea all around to have RHQ covering Biggie. It is what it is.

Edit. From his wiki:
Rich Homie Quan was artistically influenced by dirty south rap; including Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, T.I., Lil Boosie, Lil Wayne, Kilo Ali, Outkast, and Goodie Mob.
