This is what happens when you have a government that cares about its people.

A lot of people haven't even stepped off their front porch talking about a country that's solved an enormous and bunch of other problems.

Excellent intentions OP but these cats don't have the scope to talk about this.

I have stayed in Singapore for an extensive amount of time!

Nice thread + repped!

I don't doubt it. What's the inside look like? I can take you to some nice ass apartments with a walking trail, lake, 2 swimming pools (outdoor), indoor swimming pool and gym. You'd never know they were subsidized until you saw the tenants and the inside of the apartments.

And you can't really blame the landlords cause right now from the outside it looks good. But some units come with washer and dryer, along with new stoves and fridges but the a$$hole that live there either try to take them when they leave or pawn/sell them if they don't just destroy them.
That's the ones that have the "show apartment". I'm like nah show me what I'm about to be paying for. They show you the beautiful space that they don't rent out and give you the one that look like a nikka still living in it.

Trying to post anything of substance in TLR is SICKENING. This forum is contrarian HEAVEN. That's all these dweeby fakkits know how to do- rush into a thread of ANY topic and intention, and think of something contrary to the OP to say. Drunk off twitter logic values and political correctness. I've long realized that the posters in this specific forum can only absorb f*ckery. And PAWGS. That's it. Anything remotely deeper than that sends them reeling. And the low IQ narrowminded replies in this very thread are a perfect example.

I think you get executed if u have drugs there
The government helps create housing crisis when it allows hard drugs to ruin people's lives while providing poor outreach to communities on their way into the gutter.

Solving the housing issue would be the equivalent of hiding the mess In your room in the closet and saying the room is clean.. if you keep making mess eventually the closet won't be enough to hide it.

These types of policies work the best in societies that aren't multicultural, racist and greedy.

The white man ain't giving out no hugs.

Ok TLR contrarians. In case you haven't noticed, the US has a housing crisis. There aren't enough units for everyone, and it's very expensive. Singapore had this problem 50 years ago, and they solved it. Take notes. They created public housing and 90 percent of their country are homeowners. You're a renter (or a coli landlord). Their poor people have small kitchens. Our poor people live on the street.
