I remember watching the Wu-Tang series
And when RZA was storytelling how he made beats like in his mind he was making beats arguing with himself, people on the drums, on the MP on the wtv.
Dude was literally tryign to portray himself as a musical GENIUS, I was watching that shyt like I guarantee you RZA wrote that just to suck himself off.

He made beautiful banging beats, there was no need for him to oversell himself like that

The St. Lunatics album came out before nelly’s 2nd album. 50 just trying to take all the credit for g-unit sales when the real difference between banks, buck, yayo & anyone from d12 or the st. Lunatics is because of the buzz they had coming off the mixtape run. Same with the Diplomats who didn’t release an album until cam’ron’s 3rd album.

It depends on how you define “smart”. He isn’t very book smart…he is an absolute undeniable strategist though, he is going to come up with a plan and execute it, whether it works or not is another story but he’s very strategic and pragmatic, that’s probably his greatest trait…and not really being scared of shhit/people/etc…for better or worse

I typed this is mine but took it out pause after I saw you already said it, lol. The main reason everyone knew Banks and Yayo is because the mixtapes dominated the tri-state area and beyond for like a year leading up to Get Rich
