How soon should you hit a chick up after you first meet her in person?

My last response was on some humor type steeze, but hit her her up the next day or the day after, and all you got to say is "Whats up, how you doing?" then after she responds, say "Ok, well the move for tonight is (insert whatever thing you're going to be doing). You up for it?"
If she respond with anything other than yes, then don't text her again, and move on to the next one.

I arranged to meet her up after meeting thru mutual friends, met at the cafe, hit it off pretty good over some chai teas
she's a cool hippie artist type girl snd she thicker than a snicker 
she sends me a msg on fb a lil later and i don't fukk with fb like that so i missed it and sent her a text, she responds once then i respond then nothing
after that i see the fb msg and respond on there too, nothing 
i guess it's a good sign she technically hit me up first initially but i figured i get the options of the gigolos on the coli anyway
