Burgoo is basically stew. I had to google it, but I once I saw the pic I realized my mama used to make it all the time. I just didn't know there was some different name for it.

I’ll never forget when I first had gator; pop told me and my bro to come get some dinner, and I look on the stove and think we having chicken tenders, so I’m like

Only cornbread and po boys, maybe some peach cobbler. But then again I wouldn't expect to have heard of most of these foods, plus this looks to be that deep South cuisine.
