No, Cousins and Lillard would not be better than Davis and Cousins, you keep talking like they aren't hitting threes and playing off one another like guards would. Just admit you don't really watch them play, and instead of looking at the roster around them you're trying to blame any failures on a pairing that for all intents and purposes is one of the most dominant duos we've seen in a long time.

Davis and Cousins are close friends off the court, but they worked out together regularly throughout the summer in Los Angeles and Las Vegas to figure out how they can work together on the court.
After two days of training camp, Cousins said he's happy with the progress he's made with Davis and that things are much "smoother" between them so far.

THEY TAKE TURNS DOIN THE SAME EXACT THING, AND A MODERN NBA OFFENSE EXCELS BASED ON MOVEMENT AND PACE. I HAVENT LOOKED UP THIS STAT, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THE BALL MOVES MORE AND PACE PICKS UP WHEN EITHER DAVIS OR COUSINS IS ON THE BENCH. IF YOU REPLACED EITHER OF THEM WITH A QUALITY 2WAY WING, THE TEAMS SUCCESS RATE WOULD DOUBLE OVER NIGHT.
