Like I said in the impeachment thread, while Obama and Bush both backed quickly away from tarrifs, Trump is stubborn and hinged a major part of his campaign on going on a trade war with China. He will not give up this fight easily and this new move that was just released emphasizes his personality defect that will make this more disastrous. This guy won't budge until we go into a recession and even then he will do it under protest.

I'm excited to see what the Chinese do in retaliation. I'm excited not because I'm a sicko enjoying pain but because this was bound to happen, but I prefer it to happen as fast as possible.
