A Dyson sphere is a hypothetical megastructure that completely encompasses a star and captures a large percentage of its power output.

that's what the Geth was working on the amount of energy they got from this was insane...
we need ships that can travel the distance between the sun and earth stupid fast to even make this feasible... Second phtovoltaic panels that are planet sized will have to be built that's gonna be a long minute plus conversion of the energy into next gen batteries will have to be developed...plus the manpower to build something that huge and complex... its a world changing move if someone can pull all of that off
