1k purchase is not a lot of money especially for electronics
anybody with a 650 credit score can go to best buy and finance an ipad
saving 200 dollars a month until you can afford to cash out isn't bad idea, you can't save for five months before buying an ipad

ATT charging 1000 but paying it off in 24 months for a tablet that you gotta pay extra for internet connection.
On top of that it's not even MACOS so you can't really download anything like a traditional laptop.

I've been sitting here confused for the last year thinking about this. This pandemic wiped out so many jobs yet the economy is doing numbers... I see the smoke and mirrors but I can't grasp it so I'll just stay out of the way and keep paying my debt down because something has to give soon..
Expanding your means is actually the better move in a lot of cases, and easier.

One minute it's illogical to have a "savings", then the next yall clowning people with no "savings" and saying they are starving. If a nikka said he had $150g under his mattress, yall would call him dumb for not having his money work for him. If he has his money working for him, he's a broke boy because he doesn't have a savings.
Living within your means doesn't always have to apply to working class individuals nor does it have to refer to money either
It's a philosophy we can all adopt if we want to continue living on this planet
