I think the legislation, rhetoric, tone, and incompetence coming out of the White House......and the Rep. party cosigning by default because of how politics are played, makes what he's saying a hard sell. Trump literally doubles down on every controversial action or comment.
Your point about questioning effectiveness of Dem. party in addressing Black issues is a VERY valid one, but people are going to have to vote third party if they don't want to support Dems.
