Agreed, OP. I've always found him aggressively unfunny. However, I will say Bernie is legitimately hilarious. I wholeheartedly recommend it - and again, that's as someone who agrees he's otherwise corny as hell. Shallow Hal was okay just for the absurdity of the concept.
