You Owe Me and Oochie Wally are both Hot Club songs and if Jay Z made them both nobody would of said anything. But cause it was NaS he "Sold Out". NaS was only doing what Pac, Big and Jay did. But out of the GOATS yes NaS was the most off key on Club records. "BBC" was one of the 1st times I finally felt comfortable with NaS spitting on club record even though he has done tons of them, he's always ripping it when sometimes on a Club record you just gotta be loose and let it flow. Pac, Big and Jay understood this which is why they have so many Club Classic Records.

"Oochie Wally" didn't end NaS cause the song was hot, The Beat was fire and Bravehearts did go in on the track. Was NaS verse weak? "Who wants to be a millionaire but my name ain't Regis"? Yes very weak for NaS standards but this song was the point NaS finally understood he didn't have to "Go In" on every record. "Oochie Wally" had the hood and the clubs going crazy. Ez Elpee killed that beat. "Oochie Wally" is one NaS most successful singles on Billboard. It got in the Top 30 and #2 on the Rap charts, #11 on RnB Charts and even charted overseas in the UK.

ay can someone make a nasless version of this shyt tho? everybody went off except esco :heh:

They already did that. The original version on the "QB'S FINEST" Compilation LP only had the Bravehearts on it. Once the song blew in the hood, NaS jumped on the Remix then they did a video and started to pump it up with NaS. But the song itself was really just suppose to be a Bravehearts song. The NaS version is so known in the mainstream that people consider it the main version when it was really a Remix.
