I've never gone to the club with the primary purpose of making friends, but I have made good friends there, especially if the night is slow. If a dude is at the same club as me, we already share the same interest in music and women.

Does everybody just talk to people they meet in highschool or childhood? I don't know how adults make friends, it's so difficult. I plan on moving soon and I have to start all over. How does a adult make friends? Help me out

I usually meet people through others or through mutual interests and keep in contact. Probably won't be your "friend friend" but you can meet a lot of good acquaintances that way.

I’ve made some acquaintances from online activities. Sports interests and gym shyt. I don’t consider them friends though.

They're MILLIONAIRES making paper all doing the same job they love. That lessens the boundaries for friendship since they're all eating great in life.

The average adult has different lifestyles and incomes from one another and generally only has a job to live rather than enjoy.

for me all my TRUE friends live in different states now and some have families

People already listed the best options. You basically have work, some hobby or sport activity, or the bar/club
Your success going depend on how out going you are. I noticed that as people get older they have less and less friends. It seem like after a certain age your main source of companionship is family.

Most of my friends are from high school but I've been drifting from them for the most part. I don't know the answer to this shyt, friendships struck in adulthood strike me as conditional.

I'm think OP is talking about post-college adulthood, college itself is a transitional period.
Maybe it's just me but I associate "kickbacks" with high school.

Everybody including me is rocking headphones in that piece and doing their own thing.

This isn't always the case at my gym but I assume those who socialize with each other in the gym either knew each other before the gym, or in inter-gender dynamics are fukking/trying to fukk.

Well as most people already mentioned, at work, and becoming friends with your coworkers; provided they are not lame asf.

Try developing, or expanding your hobbies/interest. Join some clubs, and meet up groups where you can meet other people with similar interest. Travel to other places. You can also make friends online, and if ya'll get along just right, plan to meet up and hang out. I've done this before, and was met with some very interesting, and positive results.
