I haven't been to LA but I been to San Diego and Carlsbad. Perfect fukking weather and I loved the mexican influence in the food and locales. I'm canadian so it's hard as fukk to live in the States but when the opportunity ever come up Im moving there and not looking back. Im a sound editor in TV/Film, Cali is where i gotta be.

How is California for a black person?

Thinking about making it my home when I get out the Navy.

This is going to sound crazy but if you want to live comfortably in a decent area don't move here if you don't have a job lined up that pays at least 50k or maybe even 45k if you just want to get by in a decent area. Networking skills are also important out here especially if you want to get into the tech business where a lot of the money out here is right now because most tech companies won't hire black people by default over this b.s. "culture fit" ideology that a lot of them utilize.

The air quality is fukking disgusting out there.
thats one thing i hate about it. i talked to this pilot while at the airport and he said while they were flying in they could just see a slate of dirt just hovering over the city. i remember doing this air cap. test, said i have the lungs on a 45 yr old and im 28, physically fit

On of the goat cities in the world real talk.

There's a reason real estate is so high out here.

It's cuz everyone would live out here if they could afford to.

Dudes from the Midwest and east and south talking down on Cali :mjlol:

Like 90% of ppl that live in your bum towns don't do so by choice. Think about there. There's a reason u guys can get giant 3000 sq feet houses out there for 100k.
:mjlol:
Cuz ain't no one wanna move out there lol

Cali got legit 3 goat cities, sf, sd, la

Cali women are crazy hot. Just imagine your clown of a town. Every woman you see bump up 3 points on a 1-10 scale. That's Cali. That heffer you see pushing a stroller at Walmart in KC looks like a stripper in Cali. Had a couple of business trips out there in they day and they offered me a job out there, but I just couldn't deal with living expenses.

I've thought about moving out of California till I made another trip to the beaches :ohlawd: Born and raised in Sacramento so I probably need to get out of town more and see more of this beautiful state.

Going to Pismo Beach again in the end of April to unwind.

I aIways ask how people can live anywhere but cali. :ld: i just talked to a few guys at the gym from seattlethe other day and they were telling me fresno was better than that place.

When I was in Portland last fall, dudes from Seattle were telling me P-Town was better . Same amount of rain but more Sunshine :yeshrug:

Skyline.jpg

last but not least, the grimest, dirtiest, but still got better bytches, weather, and more better bytches than your home. LA :noah: :noah::noah:

cant forget venice beach. I wouldnt swim in that water, but look how pretty it looks from way up here. :noah:

I miss home. :mjcry:

When I was leaving LA on Southwest back to Sac last November, the plane flew right over Venice beach :mjcry:

They said its gloomy as shyt and the constant rain sucks.

For a young college ball player i can see why they would find it boring.

I like the heat. fukk the cold and winter. I work out hard and want to be able to show off the hard work i put in. and part of the reason i like fresno is because its not to much going on. that shyts cool for a while but then you burn out on it. I need a break from the fast life it turns into a chore after a while. plus fresno is centrally located so if i really want to get away its a only a few hours drive to the mountains, la, the bay area, beaches, wine country etc... even vegas is an easy drive.

The friendliest people in California are in Central Cali . Met some cool peeps from Fresno, Merced, Visalia, Clovis, etc. :obama:

when I was in vancouver I would complain how miserable I was being in under them damn grey clouds every fukking day in and day out, rain every fukking day for 6 months. entire city always wet with the exception of 2-3 months. :wdf:

them: but vancouver is a world class city, diverse, clean, peaceful and beautiful, some of the nicest people, and easily one of the most livable cities. where are you from? :rudy:
me: sunny california :ahh:

them: :wow: :mjcry:

I chilled in Seattle for 2 weeks (van was only 45 min away) it was cool, very liberal everything was so green and lush, entire city is green, even the color of poles were green. they call it the emerald state. it was quite nice...however....it rained and rained and rained. at first I thought it was cool, but after about 2 months straight , I was like :what:

im so used to having blue skies every day, everything else is so awkward. I did research on places with LA weather and there's literally only 2 other places on the planet (outside of socal). Honolulu and Madrid/Barcelona :wow:

Cali have their terrains all in one state with the exception of Louisanana's swamp LOL and miles better weather and women. My dad is from LA hahaha He jumped ship back in 75' lol

actually there is swamp land out here so cali truly does have it all. also, as someone who has lived or visited every major city back east, down south, and now on the west coast, cali is definitely where i'll be settling down, if i can afford it :sadcam: and they still have water for us to drink next year :to:. the weather is always great, there's so much to do, and the diversity of cuisine rivals that of nyc or philly imo.
