As for the thread, Red Cafe is regional as hell. He'll always have the singles that will get a month or two of play on NY/tri-state radio and clubs but he's not capable of a Pop That. I remember So Easy Remix came out and I thought dude had a chance, but nah

But LiveMixtapes is pretty much the measure for what's hot in the south ... French is top-25 on that site, Red Cafe nowhere to be seen.

Then you have HNHH, which is a good measuring stick for the whole country. Their top-100 right now (http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/top100/) has three Frenchie songs, zero by Cafe, and they both dropped tapes and singles recently.

my boy has done beats for red cafe and he would say red cafe sucks but a check is a check haa. he told me some dudes have itunes hustle where they just put out singles and make a nice flip off itunes. he said thats what red cafe was doin for a minute. said he made like 25 k I think off one song and this is a reputable producer.

This is what I like about the coli just nikkas who know nikkas and get some decent inside info to certain things. Im sure that plus the lil show money he may get for doing gigs in NY is a nice gig.
