i dont how the fukk y'all nikkas are seeing this for the first time. This excerpt from the itw has been all over the net and the TV this past week end. How on earth some of y'all nikkas are acting like " oh that what he said? he gave him props after all? i didn't know that.

People really need to let it go, in terms of individual talent its unquestionably LeBron James.
Too bad its a team sport that focuses on individuals because Kobe has had more talent around him for the bulk of his career than Jordan and LeBron has. This is not to say that things will change for LeBron as he is playing with a stacked team in Miami now, but I just think its a ridiclous argument to be having right now. Durant is "coming" and he also has the luxury of playing with an elite level PG right from the jump.

You make a very valid point
MJ is obviously talking about the number of rings you won as the main guy in the team. Individual greatness is like a prerequisite to be in the discussion so that rules out the scrubs from the jump. When you reach a certain level of greatness then I think it's valid to view the number of rings as the separating factor. Also MJ used to always get criticized for not being able to win championships in the 80s and he made it a goal to surpass Magic and Bird not only in terms of individual stats but also in number of rings. So it's understandable why he thinks that way.

funny thing is most people think everyone wants to play with LeBron cause he's having fun and no one wants to play with the ballhog Kobe.....reality is legends see his intensity for the game and respect it while they think antics like Bron's and Dwights are a joke
did you even watch the vid? paraphrasing mj's comment into "5 beats 1 every time" lacks a great amount of the context doesn't it? that's sensationalizing to me..
