I wonder if the nba is the only league in the world where dudes sit around yelling loudly to the clouds on a daily basis that the shyt they grew up on is so much better :mjlol:

Like a normal sports fan making himself oldschoolball would make content about the greatness. An nba guy will make content about how much better it was, big difference. And use shyt like 1.25 forward and shyt like young cats are dumb.

Started off like baseball writers where they just appreciate history, then quickly became worse and giving the effect that nobody listens to them and they just keep on preaching to the choir. Which is sad.

Happens in Football/soccer discussions all the time. The pining for the 90's isnt just an NBA thing.

all the time? Barely two threads per year on the coli, and this is reminiscing about the good old days paradise.

Besides the fact that I rarely hear people talking about how ass Ronaldo or Mbappe is compared to Raul or Vieri. I’m not talking about random discussions. I’m talking about a whole genre of pages on social media, not “me and my friends talked about this in 2013 August”. I’m talking about mad podcasts just with former players, with their id average 43 point assess. Don’t see that in other sports. Putting cbs golazo I don’t hear them constantly hating on the new generation and bigging up their own generation. Actually the opposite. All the old head soccer dudes are always glazing the new guys, in the nba they are glazing themselves.

The only person who would deny this is a person who spends his days doing exactly that.

In the nfl I’m starting to hear a little bit of nba like bs. Like 3-4% of it, but it’s generally words about the refs being ass. Not dudes saying they’d have 3k yards with these refs.

I'm talking other football spaces. Like other message boards football twitter reddit etc etc. Where you have the new school tactico social media YouTube generation and then you have the over 30's nostalgic people reminiscing about 90's ball.

If you think NBA ex pros are bad. The ex Dutch footballers in the media make them look tame.

You are comparing Rafael van der vaart badmouthing one player over another to a majority of former nba players in media badmouthing a whole generation for theirs. lol.

Again reminiscing has nothing to with anything I said. Even googles AI and standard answers understand what I’m saying :mjlol:

The opening example of that video was a play from Shaq, not a modern player.

According to that video, it was way easier to score in the ‘90s than it was in the ‘60s.

I guess we have to erase all of MJ’s scoring accomplishments.

Wilt Chamberlain used to talk about that all of the time :yeshrug:

That's why you never saw Magic, Bird, Jordan, etc. . .disrespect Dr. J, Wilt, Oscar, etc. . .

And we as fans never disrespected them either

The disrespect came when you nikkaz started calling dudes who had the hardest roads "plumbers" :stopitslime:
