For his sake hopefully she can drop the weight one day but she did bring life into this world for him and some folks actually show gratitude for that.

This looks like she has some other kind of health issues, such as you suggest. The look of her face before the weight gain, which was thin even though she was thick below, and then after, tells me something else happened to her. That doesn't look like normal weight gain.
