How to deal with a rude manager at work

So one of the managers here at work is a scum bag piece of shyt.. He is rude, condescending and demands you to respect yet he has no respect for anyone and bullies everyone around .

He's been reported many times and even has been suspended for his behaviour. I told him I'm gonna report him to HR if he continues to be disrespectful towards me and his response "go do it"

do it how a real gentleman would. talk to him alone and straight tell him you would break his jaw in half if he is ever rude to you.
