How to find high high resolution images of classic album covers

basically are there any websites/forums etc that you guys know of that have this kind of content. google image search nowadays is almost useless. looking for all of the 90s era classics (illmatic, ob4cl, infamous etc etc).

what's your definition of high resolution, if it's enough to look good on a phone or head unit then discogs, google play music (manually download at the source quality the record label uploaded at), or rapmusicguide if you don't mind an obnoxious watermark

if you want an archival quality scan you're gonna have to go to archiving communities

if you're really having trouble finding some obscure album post it here and i'll grab it for you, but if it takes me no effort to find it i'll never make this offer again

I google the images and try to find the best ones. Sorting by resolution. Sometimes wikipedia has the best, sometimes not. Good luck homie.

Just add "apple music" or "genius" to your google search and you'll probably find most album covers between 800 x 800 and 1200 x 1200.
