How to get a comic book off the ground

in my spare time i like to write stories and all and what not and its been my dream to have my own comic book and my own brand. I have a wide arrange of ideas i just want to get off the ground but i'm just stuck in doing that anyone have any suggestions ??

I've looked into self publishing but I never followed thru with it. Takes more $$$$ and time than I'm willing to dedicate.

If you've got materials already, submit it to Image comics to see if they're willing to publish it for you. From my understanding, they take a flat fee from the proceeds to cover cost, but you take the rest.

Standard hero/genre fare? or independent/alternative comics?

majority alternative i got some hero ideas but some of it seems cliche but i'm trying to work the kinks out of it

I was going to say, it way easier to get independent comics published.

before you send in anything get copywrites, make copies & mail the originals to yourself....

if you wanna start a company put together a business plan so you can look into grants & loans as additional funding...
