What about directly emailing company executives/owners or HR?

I did this when I was trying to get a sponsorship for apprenticeship school. I got ignored 95% of them time but eventually a owner gave me a sponsorship letter and I was working the next week

Great advice and I have used most of those technique, but this interview process shyt is getting tiresome, 97% of the interview are hypothetical, invasive and variable answers and the rest is job related. Motherfukker ask me " what did a learn new about the job ?" I learned that these dumb as questions are bullshyt and I didn't learn anything new because you were to busy integrating me for this mediocre entry level position.

I'm just trying to work and invest in new business ventures because begging some CAC for job is very demeaning these days, I remember people use to get hired by skills , certs and selling your self.

I'm in the south and I can see the department segregation from working in corporate IT, all the AA are in the warehouse while the CAC are in the office,

sometimes these technique doesn't work when they on some If go on enough interviews you truly can tell when they are interested in you. I also had a job drop a hirevue on me , told them to go fukk them self ( not in that way )

I've been out of work for 4 months and never been so depressed in my life you could ace the interview and still not get shyt . A lot of my feedback from these recruiters is you did very well and they liked you but unfortunately they are moving forward other applications i mean there is nothing stopping these excuses to not employ me from going on and on until my savings run out.

Then there's the fukers who don't even have the decency to shoot an email to say you ain't got the job, my azz done a 30 minute telephone interview and attended a face to face with just one days notice and never heard from them again.

I interviewed with brother international early this month, interviewed by four people, the first two was by phone, the hiring manger called me back ASAP!!!! and scheduled a face to face for the next week.

I have no social media so they never seen my face, ( before the onsite interview ) never heard back from them

man these employers are checking social media. I don't use IG, and I deleted the FB app from my phone. so if you even google my name, u won't find me. I do have linkedin, but I don't consider that social media as it's a tool.

Yeah ima start tampering with dates on my resume, I can definitely see these short temporary contracts i've done being a lowkey hindrance and even effecting hiring decisions. I don't know why i'm caring to keep things 100% honest as i had to bend the truth to get my first gig out of college and got away with it

Shyt i provided my own references for a couple of jobs by giving hr dummy email addresses I'd set up and confirmed i'd worked at the company listed on my resume when they emailed requesting references. There ain't no way they could find out it was me on the other end

Cover letters are the only annoying thing to me because there are some companies that don’t even look at them but still ask you to write one if you want.

I think I’ve mastered how to write a cover letter as a holder of an MPA degree with only 2 years of experience!

God bless! That's dope. Cover letters aren't all that useful unless you're really dealing with those that check for them.

Companies who don’t check for them need to say that right away. It would save people a lot of time.

Here in NYC the MTA is probably the only place that flat out let’s you know all they need is your resume!

What about relocation? the problem for me is that I'm not a 2 or 3 hour drive away from where I want to relocate. I have to fly and can't just take off work to fly at a last minute notice. I have family in Philly whose address I can use but you can't hide everything. Also I could really use the relocation package Between flying, shipping car and other household items, getting a place as well. It would be easier to do this with a relocation package. However, most jobs don't offer these packages and I don't want that to stop me from relocating. I can relocate on my own. However, that will put me in a bind and I can possibly miss out on a great package. Flying, shipping car or driving it, shipping items, down payment for a place, etc. No job offer yet but am looking. I have 3 choices. Looking to move to the east coast(1. Philly, 2. DMV, 3. Jersey)

1. Put relative's local address on resume and move on my own
   
   
2. Be honest about everything including relocation package.
   
   
3. Be honest and say I can relocate on my own(miss out on package)
