How have you been applying? In your line of work you should have a portfolio. Hit LinkedIn up with everything that you are. Network, network, network. You have to work to get the better position man, it's something I'm learning. Applying can only get you so far.
I had just created a linkedIn, kinda learning how to work it not really good so far. Yes I do have a portfolio, I just made a bechance as the site I used before kinda was too basic and elementary I think ( it may be a reason I haven't gotten anything)

What medase said is right, your skills can be shown with your line of work - show them your work and really practice your skill. Also make sure to not just apply to jobs but directly look for the person who runs HR/hiring and send them an email. Start by at least applying to 2-5 jobs per day.

Also begin looking not just at graphic designer job but search for specific tools you are good at, like if you are good at photoshop - specifically look at jobs entailing that role.
I apologize for all the double posting, ya this is something I feared, I graduated school 2 years ago and have been so focused on applying and landing a job I really haven't sharpened my skills as a designer, Could you elaborate on the emailing the HR/hiring person breh?

A template for IBM. This was for an entry level position.

Just read your cover letter....

Feedback so far, try using the STAR methodology when addressing selection criteria....same as you would in an interview.

So for each competency, describe a situation, task, action and result.
