Exercise doesn’t do shyt for me. I do cardio For an hour 4-6 days a week. It’s all about my thought process. Been having physical problems 2-3 months now, and that’s what’s fukkin me up. I’m planning to call for a doc appointment tomorrow.

Not just my physical state, by my fam issues too. Pops was just diagnosed with cancer back in October. The big C been heavy on my mind. :francis:

set little daily goals to experience that euphoria you are searching for. something little as 50 push ups a day, and build from there.

the completion in these goals is letting your conscience know you are a man whose words are done deeds. you will start to gravitate to better uprisings.

I love drugs but its only a temporary relief.

Exercising changes my mindset better than any other drug.

That’s what Im really referring to. My thoughts are what are fuxkin me up. I’m trying to stay positive, but these negative thoughts creep up and take over.

Any tips to help me out?

Way easier said than done breh but realize that they are just thoughts and technically all thought are equal they just differ in our level of emotional attachment to them. Same can be applied for practically all things actually. Thoughts aren't the problem, it's the attachment to them. It will make more sense when u meditate.

Any of yall got pdfs of the books recommended in this thread?

Acceptance that life is shytty sometimes and nothing good will happen unless you do something good for yourself.

This is coming from someone who has seen some of the worst in people.
Yet still here I am, though it's hard but the hope burns alive.

- Meditate and regain your sense of control in feeling the mastery.
- Accept that some days will be way more hard to keep going with no options left while other days be easier to keep cool.
- Enjoy every meal you eat and gratefulness for every breath you take because tomorrow may never come.
- Having faith in yourself or in others even in God
- When it's gutta shyt, be above it or just live it because it's the hood where we be at so anything can happen to a nikka. No glory no nuts!

Instead of trying to breathe heavy through your chest just breathe through your stomach while exhaling through your nostrils.

It's also a good exercise for walking and sports practice to keep focused endurance.

When I meditate I inhale and exhale thru my nostrils, should I switch it up?

I recommend you not getting worked up about it.
Let it be easy and natural!
In this situation, it's a lot less about technique, and more so how clear your thoughts feel.

Meditation means to be focused or in deep thought.

I know most people take the word to mean sitting like a buddha all high like a statue but nah chief, that just ain't it. This 2020 we entering, we ain't in 18th century Nagasaki and shyt.

People meditate during hooping, walking, hearing words from their friends, driving their car.
The feeling of enlightenment is more so a energy a person feel (That "Aha! Good idea LIGHTBULB it makes sense" moment.)
Nothing is forever so enjoy it when it enters the mind/body cause that's the soul talking. Feel me on that, yeah?

Go to the gym when you first wake up. Make the the very first thing you do. Don’t even get on social media at all until you’re done with the workout. And pack your gym bag the nite before so you can make the exercise as close as possible to your first endeavor.

I even bought the coffee maker that has the timer - I’d set it the night before and even have my glass and creamer sitting next to it already. Pour the coffee and drink it en route to the gym.
