Shop smart

Look for deals and sales, use coupons

Buy in bulk

Cook food at home/eat at home

If you were/are military, shop at commissary. They are cheaper and tax free

I've become addicted to couponing. These stores hating like fukk on me too! All of a sudden, they started creating these rules trying to stop my shine. I try my best not to cause a scene but these cashier's act like their life is on the line over some damn coupons!!!!

I'm not extreme with it but I be working the fukk out of these stores. Walgreens & Harris Teeter stay hating on me.

Buy in bulk and meal prep.
Get 2-3 days worth of fresh fruit and produce.
Works for me

Brooklyn!!!!!
Shop at African and Asian markets. I save so much money. You can get any type of meat and seafood cheap by the the pound

All types of rice, beans, grains and flour are like .75 to $1.25 per pound. I get 4 pounds of rice for like $3. Last me a whole month and change.

Always double a dinner recipe, so you can have lunch the next day.

Meal plan. I make weekly menus and post of on my fridge. I grocery shop based on the menu, so I don't buy any extra or unnecessary items. This means going to the grocery store weekly tho, but I do that anyway for produce. I buy my meats in bulk and just separate them and freeze.
