Get a cookbook

Make different recipes so you don't get bored eating at home

But, if you're not worried about fine cuisine, you can look up lots of simple rice and ramen recipes to mix it up with real cheap ingredients. I make ramen with an egg, cheese and frozen veggies. If I had to, I could eat a week or 2 off of about $10.

If you're able to, spend that money on quality, natural food.

Save money by cutting back in other non-essential areas, like drugs.

-Harris Teeter has the 9.99 family meal weekly...that about a good 2-3 days right there. It's a combo of items on the grocery shelves
Comes with a meat, a few sides, drink and dessert.

-Frozen chicken breasts (7 for about 8 dollars)
-canned veggies
-mashed potatoes

about 15 for a weeks worth of dinner

Buy rice and beans, very cheap starches that hold indefinitely if stored properly.
Buy your meat in bulk from a local supplier.
buy local fruit and only in season for the cheapest prices.
drink more water and cut out soft drinks, fruit juices, and etc.

You gotta stop eating out

And once you do here's the gem of all gems....

Get a simple business license and do your grocery shopping at restaurant supply companies

It's like Costco on crack

I'm talking beans at .25/lb, rice .25/lb chicken $1/lb etc....

You can't buy everything you need there but just buying the essentials will save you hundreds of dollars and trips to the store :blessed:

Now rep me:mjgrin:
