How to normalize social Media? Is there even a way or is this the new reality and im Just becoming old and Out of Touch?
Bruh, the problem is that the right wing owns the platforms — that's really all there is to it. Look at Twitter/X with Musk and Facebook with Mark. You can't beat the owners of the platforms themselves when they align with the right, no matter how good your message is. That's just how it is

This.the problem with your assumption is "conservative = bad" which is why you will never be able to "stop" it.
Democrats *are* often bad at messaging, but treating that as the main problem ignores the structural reality we're up against. Messaging doesn't operate on a level playing field. The right has a massively subsidized media ecosystem and there are no penalties for lying. Better framing helps, but it doesn't overcome asymmetrical power by itself.Dems are just terrible at messaging... even when they have the winning message. Framing it as "change is more difficult" hides this truth and ensures things won't get better on the communication front.
Agreed, but being at a disadvantage makes messaging effectively even more important, and the Dems failure to do so much more glaring.Democrats *are* often bad at messaging, but treating that as the main problem ignores the structural reality we're up against. The largest problem is algorithmic amplification and the incentives behind them. These social media platforms optimize for engagement, outrage, fear, and grievance. Those things outperform nuance every time. Right-wing messaging is structurally aligned with that incentive model, so it gets amplified. Ownership bias and weak enforcement make it worse, but the core issue is profit-driven algorithms rewarding the loudest and angriest content. And that's something that needs to be regulated.
So youre saying Republicans are better politiciansRepublicans are good at the simple, vague messaging, like “America First” What does that even mean? They know how stupid the average American is, and they take advantage of it.
