dog. the fact that the song was called "candy shop" alone disqualifies it from receiving any type of positive response. not to mention it was on the heels of a song called DISCO INFERNO. the x-rated video couldnt even save that one.

and 50 already laid down a trail of wannabe jarule singles for like 2 years leading up to this atrocity.

Come on oh ready. It was a slick metaphor for bytches suckin dikk.

Peep the beat. Peep the flow.

Track was hot.

i liked when fif came on the scene. i was happy he put ja on hold, but once this track came out, it was a wrap. how the fukk you mock ja for making tracks with r&b hooks and u come with this :why:

I think that's one of the major reasons he ain't maintained his core fan base as much as he could have, as nikkas started looking at him funny for that shyt, that combined with him beefing with everyone was a wrap. He still has a good following, but compared to the interest he generated back then to the number of fans still interested in him now, he lost a significant portion because of his focus on commercial interests before anything else.

Define bubblegum rap.

Rap songs about mainstream pop topics (sex, love...shyt Britney Spears and Rihanna sing about) with catchy sing-song hooks (often the hook being sung by a female vocalist) and a beat you could dance to and fits the top40 radio of the time.

i.e Candyshop

He had momentum at this point and could do no wrong. Candy shop is actually better than a lot of the human excrement hes been releasing since.
