:umad: at least henessey enemies came from his pen. Drake however..:mjpls:

Hennessey also rhymes with friend to me, Pac switched it up even with his trademarks lol

But anyone who say Pac couldn't write complex shyt, that is not true and Pac wrote SONGS. Pac was a poet and the content, there was a reason behind every track

fukk how many words u can rhyme if you can't write a SONG.

This is true . . Tupac benefited on multiple instances of producers sneaking up to his hotel room to slide a CD under his door. That's how QD3 met him, I think QD3 was gonna change the soundscape of Tupac's music moving forward

And a lot of artists benefit from that. I know an elder who's a layman to the music industry but he gives me the :upsetfavre:"once they make it everyone and their cousin is sending them a song"

. . . and this worked it's way into the business model of Ruthless, Death Row and Interscope . . even back to the NWA material featuring skits of people calling in on the radio talking about having their tracks stolen :

i would even agree with you that pac did coke probably a few lines. I think most people in his position have, then again if you are blunted all day coke would just mess that all up

I used to rap (still write) and I could write and record pretty fast when I was in the mood quality shyt too. And I just did it as a hobby.

So if Pac did it for a living I don't see how it could be so hard. I always wondered why it Q11took other people so long to write

That means you're probably a writer. You might be one of the types of people that find they communicate through writing better than anything else but you have to realize that's not natural to everybody

Writers minds aren't the same. It's not what you do, it's who you are. And there's hacks everywhere in between

There's a way to communicate with every sense of the human body . . writing is the only thing that communicates directly with the imagination

This isn't a serious question right? A guy who sat in jail with nothing to do....ahh fukk it never mind :pacspit:
Most people would've came out of jail and went straight to the club for the "return party" with a bunch of sparkler bottles and girls who see you as an opportunity for everything from a drink to a whole life of luxury. We're talking about a 24 year old man . Maintaining focus shows a definite of purpose that most youth don't have

Plus he was still very productive pre-prison to :manny

You are comparing a legend and a person who was larger than life with the average person? Why?

That makes absolutely no sense.

in the murder capital where we murda for capital
There is a far bigger issue at hand here. And that's we are sitting here debating how great of a songwriter and lyricist and what not PAC was, like we are surprised or something... Lots of them old cats was good at this stuff, that's why they legends, but we find ourselves discussing it because we can't say the same about these trash bag rappers of today's generation. I can guarantee you won't see a thread in 20 years on any hip hop forum talking about lil Uzi or yachty or young thug had the cheat codes to rap, fukk I hope we don't even see a thread about them next year...

Breh . .

. . .imagine you knew about Tupac since you were 6 years old and always looked up to him and then by the time you're rolling around close to his age you try to understand how these things were possible. Now you can look at him from the eyes of someone that age and you have first hand experience with what comes along with being that age and what the average person is doing. Perhaps on some level I could be subconsciously demystifying him but I'm trying to get an understanding of how he worked.

I mean have we ever talked about what the story is with "Blasphemy" . . he was just silent, it came to him and he couldn't explain it. He also got uncharacteristically anti-social . . is this demonic possession :ohhh: I know someone who's very religious who explained to me how offensive that song would've been if he was alive.

And there's nothing wrong with him partaking in any recreational substances, if you're gonna stop listening to music that was made on drugs you better be looking forward to removing 90% of the top 500 songs ever.

That style he had in interviews was reminiscent of a WWF wrestler back in those steroids + coke days . . but these were the hip-hop interviews, when he did the acting interviews he was playing a very tame Pac, polite and soft spoken

We know he did ecstasy in Italy.

I would've liked to see Tupac create some material that was inspired by an acid trip @Juggalo Fred what you think?

Transcendental Pac

You know someone as perceptive as he was about the reality around him would have some incredibly perceptive observations to come back with from his trip

What do you think? Would you of like to see Tupac go on a psychedelic journey and make music inspired by it?
