What's crazy is how he just disappeared again. I'll never get why Hip Hop Legends are not treated like legends of other genres.
It comes from the culture man, sad to say. Hip-hop fans love to give their legends the "hang it up" treatment.

For us pre SPEEDKNOT MOBSTAZ, "Adrenaline rush is GOAT" level twista fans...I wrote him off for dead for REAL before Kanye put on for chicago and revived his career.

I will always respect west for that.

Its like he had his 90s hits...then was on is that yo bytch...and he was just a memory. I thought he'd just be like on the level bone thugs is now...but dude came back something VICIOUS after slow jamz. And he made a little groove there with rnb and soul shyt with his delivery...bytches was checking for TWISTA songs??

His run from

Slow Jamz
Overnight Celebrity
So Sexy ft R. Kelly (this is still the shyt)
Girl Tonight ft Trey Songz (big hit)
Wetter

with that video...dude had gone from gangsta ass rapper with a HATCHET scar in his face...to a player vibe?

nikka went PLATINUM followed by gold, after being dormant for like 7 years.

:mindblown: How did nobody in this thread mention this track?:

EDIT:
No mention of the feature either?:

Cant really consider that a comeback can you?I just look at it as he was a underated nikka who finally got his well deserved shot:mjcry:...There really is no kindve record he couldn't sound good on,we seen em make plenty of classic tracks for the ladies with Do or Die and Johnny P,of course he could do the hard shyt.

I look at it as weird only because of how it turned out, they repackaged Twista as a damn "for the ladies" rapper:mindblown:?If I recall right he was on Atlantic who does this to any rapper who has one hit for the ladies:snoop:?arguably the worst record label of our time when I think of all the artist they had and failed to push properly,or completely fukked up they lane like they did with Twista.

Twista on prime Rocafella I swear would've been incredible...would've been able to make his commercial hits over great production, but still have the artistic freedom to go as hard as he wanted to.

I don't wanna hear shyt about fans turning they back on Twista,I aint mad at Twista for doin what he did,it was a long time coming to get that shot....but he watered himself the fukk down something horrible,i aint tryna hear about how us fans sold him out.

Besides that's how hiphop works, lets stop comparing it to other genres when its like no other:banderas:...If you really a legend you will have core fans that will always respect you, funny how rapppers hardly ever wanna cater to the core though:sas2:.

Yet wanna blame fans when we stop fukkin wit em,you switched up to crossover and gain some new fairweather fans, the core aint like how that shyt sounded and moved on,and the fairweathers moved on like fairweathers do:manny:

Fans are RARELY the problem.
