How many rappers in the late 90's were talking about being cheap? Especially towards women? It was refreshing in a sense

Add to the fact that their songs were catchy and you can easily have a single like No Pigeons be a hit

I’m talking about how they were able to use the same beat/ same song and melody As a tlc song that was top of the charts around the same time, on a completely different Record label ...and legally push it as their own single ...not the content of the song ..like paperwork wise
