Cali Governor race is 2026. She's not going to step down as VP to run for Governor.
I don't trust black Democratic women in the South. I feel like they will vote for her out of the sole temptation and idea of a first black female President. It may carry her during Super Tuesday. I also feel like they may hold the party hostage or raise a lot of hell if it looks like she wouldn't be the nominee.
None of that is happening. If she can't prove herself after 4 or 8 years as VP and a decade as a senator she just doesn't have it.
