JD Vance was to trump what Kamala was to Biden. Chosen bc they needed to fill a hole in the ticket. Trump needed the right wing tech money; Biden needed AA/Women voters. There is no personal connection between the two, so Vance will never have MAGA's hearts.
All the MAGA folks I know are cool with Vance.
