I think if anything, Stevens will have the team motivated and playing hard. They're gonna be a scrappy team that plays hard, and in a shytty East thats wide open after the top 5 teams, they have a chance at the playoffs.

It's still tough to get an idea of what their actual roster will look like.

People forget your still looking at a squad (as of right now) with Rondo, Bradley, Green, Sullinger, Wallace, Humphries... The rookie Kelly Olynik will contribute to this team. They're more talented than people give them credit for.

Jeff Green is ready to become a starter. Could be a borderline all star player IMO.

I think they will surprise and win between 35-40 games. It's not like they are devoid of talent. They are just young and really don't have a go to scorer. But with a healthy Rondo an improved Sullinger and Avery Bradley I don't think they will be as bad as people think. And I think Jeff Green will surprise too as their first option.

Only haters will openly say that Rondo is not one of the highest basketball IQ players in the league, as anybody that has ever coached him says that he has one of the highest they have ever seen. If he truly buys in to this analytic/money ball/stat shyt that Ainge has already been pushing and Stevens life is based on, there is no reason that this team can't be a 40 plus game team and a team nobody wants to play in the offs.
It all truly depends on Rondo, and how much he feels he has to prove with the vets gone and being the true leader.
