Hell Chuck nOrris was just a point contact guy, just like Van Damme, which would mean he had more experience than than Bruce and that isn't even equal ot full contact fighting.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of people who have trained with and fought with Bruce Lee. He's arguably the most researched and studied fighter of all-time.
To dismiss all of that and just label him as an actor as if he's a manufactured "action movie star" like John Wayne or Sylvester Stallone is just fukking retarded.

There aren't thousands of peopel who fought with him because he only had 1 fight in the US behind closed doors that he lied about with Wong Jack Man. Wong Jack said Bruce was all talk, a 3rd party agreed with Jack, and he put it in the local chinese newspaper that if Bruce had a problem with what he said come see him about it and this time they'll do it in public, and Bruce refused.
He is just like Stallone an actor, its just a lot of racists who look at anything asian as "special" and probably believe in asian martial arts as being realistic or historically sound instead of realizing that shyt is largely derived from asian traveling theater.
Bruce Lee is not a fighter, he is a actor, Norris and Van Damme are more accomplished "fighters" and they only did point shyt. Stop mystifying him for no reason, where there are actually proven people to this day who engaged in full contact fighting.

I wouldn't dismiss him as solely an actor, he did have a martial arts foundation and had some good concepts regarding fighting, but with that said there is enough information out there to question just how good he really was, that Wong Jack Man situation looks like pure

You can be an excellent trainer and a non fighter, Virgil Hunter in boxing and Greg Jackson in MMA come to mind.
The fact is this, don't call anyone an excellent fighter if they never did it.
