He only got it because of Finn's injury, which means they didn't think of him as a world champ.
It was all downhill from the moment, HHH never explained why Owens was his man for him to comeback and fukk over SSeth.
If it wasn't for the double act with Jericho, it would be looking really bad.

It's a rehash of what we gotten for the last couple of years from the main Champ being represented on Raw. Which is basically, a talented heel who can actually go in the ring, is subjected to maintaining the title through some vet he's linked to through constant interruption
Bad through little fault of his own. His booking has been abhorrent, he hasn't been given a single big moment as champ, and they simply don't present him as a threat and a legit champion whatsoever. The reasons for that boil down to this whole Jericho thing, which while entertaining thwarts the defining character trait of Owens that made him popular in the first place: a prizefighter. He's a heel who actually beats people up without the need for heel tactics and does it for a "prize", be it a title or for his son. They've completely stripped that aspect of his character away and made him a fat funny p*ssy instead of a fat badass bully. Add that to the fact Sasha and Charlotte have been getting the big moments on Raw and PPVs while Owens plays second fiddle, and the fact that they book Owens in the same couple of matches every week, and the fact that they never followed up on the Triple H thing right, and you get a shytty ass world title reign.
Definitely worse than seth, he is a sidekick in his own storyline

until someone pointed out how other people were getting main event slots over Owens. Now that comparison makes a lot more sense.
I'd say Punk's was still way better because the matches and feuds were much better.

I don't know if it's worse than Rollins' run (never forget that he lost a match against J&J security and had a feud with fukking Kane) but it certainly is less memorable. You can tell that they don't really believe in him as the top champ (at least Vince doesn't) and it shows in every aspect of how the character is treated.

Terrible, he is booked as a joke, he didn't belong in the ring yesterday with those other guys. He needs a really good feud where he wins fair and is dominate in doing so.
Horrible, he's playing second fiddle to Chris Jericho. Combine that with Roman Reigns super booking and his overall appearance and you just have a bad situation on your hands. KO is trying to make the best of it but damn
Just look at what AJ Styles is doing over on SmackDown and compare it to KO, even with him losing to Ellsworth three times he's in a much much better situation.

Chris Jericho outshines him weekly and is the only consistent bright point in his whole "reign".
I'd rank it as slightly worse than the Rollins reign, since Seth had excuse of having the Authority all up in the videos for his entire run.
